Immunizations are an important part of protecting the public’s health because they help prevent disease and improve health status. One of Shelby City Health Department’s goals is to make immunizations available and accessible to all residents. Immunizations are available to Shelby residents in several ways.

• Visit one of Richland Public Health’s Neighborhood Immunization Clinics. These clinics are offered at various locations throughout Richland County.
• Visit a local pharmacy. Many pharmacies offer a variety of low-cost vaccinations. Check with each specific pharmacy for complete information on immunization availability, cost, and requirements. Local pharmacies include, but many not be limited to:
