Immunizations are an important part of protecting the public’s health because they help prevent disease and improve health status. One of Shelby City Health Department’s goals is to make immunizations available and accessible to all residents. Immunizations are available to Shelby residents in several ways.
Local Vaccination Clinics
Shelby City Health Department will offer the vaccination clinics in 2020:
2nd Thursday’s, 2:00pm – 5:00pm on (CANCELLED) – July 9,( CANCELLED August 13), & September 10, 2020
All vaccination clinics are walk-in. No appointments are required. Please bring current immunization records and insurance cards.
Clinic Location: 5 Water Street, Shelby.
This is the side entrance to Shelby City Hall. Parking is available on the street and in the rear parking lot.
Other Immunization Options
Immunizations are available at many other locations in the community.
- Contact your primary care provider.
- Visit one of Richland Public Health’s Neighborhood Immunization Clinics. These clinics are offered at various locations throughout Richland County.
- Visit a local pharmacy. Many pharmacies offer a variety of low-cost vaccinations. Check with each specific pharmacy for complete information on immunization availability, cost, and requirements. Local pharmacies include, but many not be limited to:
